Microsoft's built-in Microsoft Translator has several features, which allow you to translate text, speech, and images, making it easier for you to read foreign materials without difficulty or navigate foreign websites with ease. You can also communicate in real-time with other people from different countries by group chat, making your communication more efficient. To use Microsoft Translator, first open the app on your device. Then click on the "Translator" option from the start menu, accept the service agreement if prompted, and enter the welcome screen where you can choose the language you want to translate into and the language of the original text. Once you have set up your translation preferences, you will be able to access the following features:
-
Text Translation: Choose the source language and target language, type in the text you want translated, and the translated text will appear below the input field.

-
Speech Recognition: Record your voice and convert it into text using Microsoft Translator. Simply speak into the microphone while the audio is being recorded, then listen as the text appears below the input box.
-
Image Transcription: Upload an image that contains the text you want to translate and let the software identify the words within the picture. Type in the corresponding word and the translated text will appear below the input field. How do you check the history of your translations? Just click on the "History" icon in the bottom right corner of the screen, select any entry from the list, and you'll see the details of the translation there. Additionally, you can view previous translations fixed by clicking on the "Fixed" option, and copy them if needed. If you need to create a new conversation, simply import the session by entering the code or QR code provided. Once done, you can invite participants to join the conversation through the "Join Chat" button. To send messages, just type them in the text box provided and let the software translate them automatically.
